Volunteer Call Out: The Forgotten Village

As part of The Community Brain’s attempt to bring back some magic to children over the Christmas

period, we are staging a promenade theatre show, written by the Seething Villagers called The

Forgotten Village.

The show will take place over 6 days in the week commencing the 14th December in Kingston, Surbiton and Tolworth. Our audiences will set out on a quest to meet some famous Christmas characters and help bring the light back to The Forgotten Village by walking around their local community to do good deeds and earn the lights they’ll need.

To enable us to realise our dream of spreading a little Christmas magic and kindness amongst our community, we need stewards to walk with each of our families to help keep the show Covid Compliant. If you can lend us any time at all, we would greatly appreciate it.

Do get in touch if you’re able to take part and thank you so much in advance from all of us on The Forgotten Village Team. Shows last one hour each and call times for volunteers would be earlier each day. Dates and show times as follows:

Monday 14th and Tuesday 15th December

Location: Kingston

Show times: 4.30 and 6.30pm

Thursday 17th and Friday 18th December

Location: Surbiton

Show times: 4.30 and 6.30pm

Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th December

Location: Tolworth

Show times: 2.00 and 5.00pm
