School seedball sessions

June 6, 2019

Children from Tolworth's Knollmead Primary School took part in seedball making sessions today. The seedballs were created with local Tolworth clay, kindly arranged by Winvic Construction, who are working on the Lidl site nearby.

Pupils discussed the areas they walk in locally, and places they would like to see 'greened' on their routes to school.

Keith McMahon of Kingston Beekeeper's Association ran educational workshops to teach the pupils about the importance of bees as pollinators, along with some fun facts for them to take home.
