THE CUTTING

The Community Brain has plans to create a new wildlife garden behind Baking Ideas, the new community hub and kitchen at Tolworth Station. The Cutting will encourage biodiversity, give residents access to a safe outdoor meeting place and also allow people to take cuttings from herbs and other plants.
Alongside the development of The Cutting, we are planning to introduce ‘Crop Ups’ to the fenced space along the front of Guinness Homes site. The crop ups will provide opportunities for local communities to share skills and growing space, and we are exploring the introduction of raised beds and additional seating to this area.
