Surbiton Food Festival: Village of Seething Freshwater Sardine Festival

Join the Villagers of Seething for the legendary Freshwater Sardine celebration and an afternoon of live music, fine local food and drink, and community BBQ 

Plus, don't miss the annual parade to the banks of the Thames where we will (hopefully) haul in the first Freshwater Sardine Catch of the season.

This FREE event for the whole family takes place in Claremont Gardens, Claremont Road, Surbiton (not far from Waitrose).

Getting there:

We would encourage you to walk, cycle or use public transport to attend our events. 

Rail: The Freshwater Sardine Festival  is less than five minutes on foot from Surbiton Station, which has regular trains running between London Waterloo, Guildford and Basingstoke.

Buses: You can catch any bus that stops at Surbiton Station, including the  K1, K2, K3, 71, 281 and 465
