Learn about the myths and legends of Surbiton.

Want to learn about Lefi Ganderson, the Goat Boy of Mount Seething? Or about the freshwater sardines that were over-fished from the Thames?

Robin Hutchinson, the director of The Community Brain, will take you on a tour of Surbiton, narrating some exciting myths and legends that have long been loved by the villagers of Seething (or you could call them Surbitonians).

He will talk about the various events that take place in the neighbourhood and why. How they have impacted the personality of Surbiton and transformed it from a sleepy suburban town to a neighbourhood cherished and loved for its sense of community and whimsy.

We will start the tour from Surbiton station booking hall and walk down to the high street and alleyways to explore the stories that sit within.
