The Hogsmill River is a rare and precious chalk stream, and you’re invited to explore a newly restored section of it on this guided nature walk. Led by Kingston’s Biodiversity Officer, this walk will take you on a scenic journey through the local landscape, sharing the rich history of the Hogsmill, the environmental challenges it faces, and the opportunities ahead for its recovery.
You will learn firsthand how RBK collaborates with fantastic conservation organisations like the South East Rivers Trust and Citizen Zoo to breathe new life into this vital ecosystem.
The walk will start at Berrylands Station and walk up the Rose walk nature reserve past Elmbridge Meadows, crossing the Kingston Bypass and walk up to Malden Manor Station, where we will end the walk.
