About the event

Join Kingston University PhD student, local artist and content creator Daisy Bow for a hands-on cyanotype workshop in the heart of Kingston’s Ancient Market Place as part of a vibrant programme marking 60 Years of Fashion in Kingston.

In 1965, Kingston’s fashion students made history, helping define the ‘London Look’ and putting British design on the global map. This legacy of creativity, innovation and self-expression continues today — and you're invited to become part of it.

In this workshop, you’ll learn the magical process of cyanotype printing, which is an early photographic technique that uses sunlight to create striking blue prints. You’ll experiment with foraged local plants, vintage photo stencils, and locally found objects to create your own unique cyanotype artwork.
