Living Tolworth Photography Competition launched!
As part of SHEDx we are launching a brand new photography for the whole community to get involved with to capture the landscape, people and environment which we will be following so closely for the next two years.
Share your experiences of Tolworth through photography. If you'd like to take part, get your camera or your phone and take a photograph inspired by one of the themes below. We are looking for photographs which capture the essence of the area, the landscape, heritage and the community.
The competition is free to enter for all photographers
The judges will pick their favourite single image across six diverse categories
The judges will pick one winner, a runner up and four shortlisted images per category
All winning and shortlisted entries will receive feedback from our expert judges
You don't need an expensive camera to take part, you can use any digital camera or smart phone
Photographers of all ages, background and experience levels are invited to enter their best single images into the competition. A judging panel of professional photographers will award a winner and runner up in each category and will award their favourite single images from across the six categories:
Architecture & Urban Environment
The winning and shortlisted images will be displayed at a public exhibition in Tolworth. The shortlisted photographers will receive feedback on their image from our team of expert judges. The overall winner will receive £50 of Kingston Pounds and the six category winners £25 of Kingston Pounds. Runners up will receive a certificate.
Rules and guidelines
Photographers should consider the category description when entering their work. Judges are looking for good composition, creativity and clear photographs.
Please submit your photo by the 14th December as a high resolution JPEG by emailing it to firstname.lastname@example.org. Information to include in your email: name, contact number and where your photo was taken.
