Mulching Around the Christmas Tree
The Community Brain would like to say a massive thank you to the fantastic runners from Goodgym Kingston who impressed us with their mulch spreading abilities on the Tolworth Broadway planters last night! As the runners arrived to the Broadway on a cold December evening, they were met by what might appear to some as Tolworth's newest geological feature. First in Tolworth Christmas Market
Sunday 6th December saw another fantastic array of local traders bringing Tolworth Broadway to life, as the last market of 2020 took place. Despite many challenges this year, the December market took place under Tier 3 so we managed to have a full range of craft and food traders showcasing their wares. Volunteer Call Out: The Forgotten Village
As part of The Community Brain’s attempt to bring back some magic to children over the Christmas period, we are staging a promenade theatre show, written by the Seething Villagers called The Forgotten Village. The show will take place over 6 days in the week commencing the 14th December in Kingston, Surbiton and Tolworth. Tolworth Broadway has received a festive makeover thanks to brilliant teamwork from Tolworth's communities. The Community Brain worked with Gardenia London, who kindly donated the tree, James Geach, Surbiton Neighbourhood Manager, who arranged for the electricity supply to be connected for the tree, St Georges Church who provided the brilliant lights, and a wonderful team of volunteers who decorated the Christmas tree and added lights along the Broadway Visit the tree next ti
